The Flag Barn LLC is a small business based out of Mount Laurel, New Jersey that began primarily as a company focusing on creative garden flag and textile products. The idea started when the owner, John Phillip, created a custom garden flag on a textile website. After creating the design, submitting for print, and paying $24.95 + tax and shipping, a brand new garden flag was delivered 2 weeks later. After getting compliments from many of the neighbors on the design he created, a few asked if he could order the same design for them. When he gladly did his this favor and got reimbursed, a lightbulb immediately went off, and the concept of "The Flag Barn" was created in mid 2021.

The Flag Barn started with a few designs and it immediately took off. Over time, John worked with many different commercial factories, testing out different grades of polyester, and negotiating wholesale costs so the The Flag Barn could ultimately provide the best quality product at the best possible price for its customers. While some product sales started from referrals from neighbors, family, and friends, much of the company serviced customers on online selling platforms, specifically Ebay and Facebook Marketplace.

While The Flag Barn started with garden flags, you will notice it has also branched into creative keychains and jewelry/and accessories. After all, it was a company founded on fun and creativity, so why stop there?
